Registration for 2009 Winter Program
Wednesday, 12 November 2008

Registration for players for the 2009 Winter Program (January-March) is now underway.  You can attend our Free Tennis Clinic and register there; or you can register on-line by clicking here.

Our program begins with 3-4 weeks of skill development, evaluation, and team organization.  League play will start o/a the 10th of January and continue through the end of March 2009.   Cost of registration is $85, which includes about 15 hours of indoor court-time, professional tennis instruction, and league play.  Compare this with the more than $200 you would pay for a similar program at the Binghamton Tennis Center.  For quality, cost, and convenience, you can't find a better youth tennis program in the Triple Cities!

VJTTA Reorganizes
Wednesday, 12 November 2008

group1.jpgVJTTA has reorganized its Junior Team Tennis League for the 2009 Winter Program. We have modified the age groupings and now will enroll only two groups: those from 8-12 years of age, and those from 13-16 years of age.

We have also adopted a “Triples” format for all league play. Triples is a faster moving format in terms of player rotation, and it can accommodate more players more efficiently. It also is a better format for practicing beginning tennis skills. In addition, we have limited the size of our teams, so there will be more playing and less standing around. All in all, these improvements will lead to a more successful, enjoyable VJTTA.  More Tennis, More Fun.  We hope you can join us for the 2009 Winter Progam!
