Vestal Junior Team Tennis Association will
conduct a free one-hour Tennis Clinic at the Southern Tier Sports
Center in Vestal, December 13 at 2:00 for youths 8-12 years; and at
3:00 for youths 13-16 years old. All boys and girls living in Broome
& Tioga Counties, regardless of skill level, are welcome. We will
register kids for our January-March 2009 Winter Tennis Program at this clinic.

 VJTTA has reorganized its Junior Team Tennis League for the 2009
Winter Program. We have modified the age groupings and now will enroll
only two groups: those from 8-12 years of age, and those from 13-16 years
of age.
We have also adopted a “Triples” format for all league play. Triples is
a faster moving format in terms of player rotation, and it can
accommodate more players more efficiently. It also is a better format
for practicing beginning tennis skills. In addition, we have limited the size of
our teams, so there will be more playing and less standing around. All in all, these improvements will lead to a more successful, enjoyable VJTTA. More Tennis, More Fun. We hope you can join us for the 2009 Winter Progam!
